The Brookland Foundation, in partnership with The Cooperative Ministry, will be accepting applications on Wednesdays from 10AM -2PM, for eligible individuals who need help with their insurance premium through the Affordable Care Act. To see if you qualify, please contact the Brookland Foundation at 803-744-7914.

Young adult bible study is Tuesdays at 6 PM in new members orientation room and Evangelist Crystal Evans will teach.
Campus Bible Study is on Wednesdays at 12pm and 6pm. Please join us as we explore the world of various faith communities. We will discuss what makes Christianity unique from other religions and cults. We will cover Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and much more. The class will be full of films, guest lectures, group assignments and field trips.
Women's Bible Study is on 4th Sundays at 5 PM in the small sanctuary. Reverend Angel Malone and Reverend and Betty Brown will facilitate. Girls Teen Bible Study will also meet at this time.
Cub Scouts are conducting their annual fundraiser. You may purchase popcorn from them in the Health & Wellness Center on Sundays.

Christian Education Weekend Teaching Christian Education in the 21st Century October 28-30th, "Learn Together, Discuss Together, Grow Together, Fellowship Together". Registration is $40. Friday night there will be a reception and workshops. On Saturday we will have panel discussions and workshops. Breakfast and Lunch will be included in the Registration cost.
The Annual Fall Festival will be held Friday, October 28th, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the Health and Wellness Center Gym. Free inflatable games and food for all. Children are encouraged to bring friends. Costumes also welcome. For information, contact Kenneth Campbell at 803.413.8949
THE SENIOR EXPO SPONSORED BY JAMES B ADAMS SENIOR CENTER IS TUESDAY. NOVEMBER, 1ST 9 AM -1 PM Event at BROOKLAND LAKEVIEW EMPOWERMENT CENTER'S CAFETERIA (located behind Gymnasium) The Event is Free and Open to all Seniors and Caregivers. Lunch will be served.
The Couples for Christ Ministry of Brookland Baptist Church invites all married and engaged couples to our mini-retreat to be held on Saturday, November 5th, from 9 AM – 1 PM. in the Brookland Baptist Banquet and Conference Center. Breakfast will be served. The theme for the mini-retreat is "Unlocking the Power of Prayer in Marriage." The speaker is Rev. Thomas Beavers, Senior Pastor of the New Rising Star Baptist Church, in Birmingham, Alabama. Rev. Beavers served as the outstanding retreat speaker for 2015 and 2016. Please join us at our table in the health and wellness center to register or receive additional information each Sunday after service during the month of October.
