-Attention Men's Day Registration continues Today! Please stop by the table in the Health & Wellness Center or click here for details! 2018 Men’s Day Choir rehearsal is Tuesday, June 11th at 6:30 PM in the Main Sanctuary. Our next two events will be June 5th - Brothers Bowling Fellowship at Parklane Bowling Alley, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm ($12 per person) and on June 9th - Men’s Day Boys II Men Game Day Brookland Heath & Wellness Center, 10:00 am-2:00 pm (Food available for purchase). Preachers vs. Deacons Basketball Game, 2:00 pm—4:00 pm. April 15th - June 24th: Please donate gently used men’s clothing/shoes & personal care items for the Men’s Closet.
- Train up a child in the way that they should go; and when they are older, they will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6. The Christian Education department at the Brookland Baptist Church holds fast to this Proverb, we want the opportunity to help you to teach your children the basics of the Bible. Our Sunday School teachers are ready to invest in your child after 8 am service.

- The Brookland Health and Wellness Center celebrates Healthy Living in 2018! Membership is open now, join the Health and Wellness Center for only $10 a month, NO APPLICATION FEE. Stop by after worship and complete your application, membership starts immediately, OR call 803.744.7928 for more information. The Health and Wellness center hours of operation: M-Th 6am-9pm, Fri 6am-7pm, Sat 8am-1pm.
- First Thursday Single Sessions Presents Becoming Financially Fit for the Kingdom...an interactive class, 6-8pm Thursday June 7th at Brookland Baptist Church Northeast. All Singles are Welcome and Refreshments will be served. RSVP at
-The Next Child Abuse and Neglect Training Class is June 4th at 6 PM. This class is mandatory for all persons that will be volunteering with Vacation Bible School.
- Camp Brookland is now Enrolling. Register your children Ages 5-10 Today! Camp begins June 5th just call 803.744.7919 for more information.
-The Couples for Christ Ministry will sponsor the couples' bible study for engaged and married couples on June 6, 20, and 27, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Banquet and Conference Center. -All parents who participated in the infant dedication services and/or those who desire to participate in upcoming dedications are strongly encouraged to register for the Growing Kids God's Wayparenting class to be held from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2018. -The Sisterhood is accepting applications for the Ezella Rumph Jackson Scholarship to be awarded to a female student at the Sisterhood Empowerment Luncheon, Saturday, June 9, at 11 a.m. at the BBC Conference Center. Applications may be downloaded from the Sisterhood or Brookland's website. The deadline is June 4th.
- Get your tickets today for the Sisterhood Empowerment Luncheon, Saturday, June 9 at 11 a.m., in the Banquet and Conference Center. Dr. Traci Young Cooper is speaking, along with entertainment, and door prizes. Purchase in the Health and Wellness Center and pick up your application for the Ezella Rump Jackson scholarship or online. $15.
- All seniors and parents! Vibe Teen Senior service is scheduled for June 10th.
- Brookland's Christian Education Ministry would like to invite all children, teens, and adults to its 2018 Community Vacation Bible School held at the Lakeview Empowerment Center June 11th - 15th from 6pm-8pm. This year's theme is: "Jesus, The Kingdom Builder: Strong Families, Churches, & Communities". WE NEED TEACHERS FOR THE 6 AND 14 YEAR OLD CLASSES AND VOLUNTEERS FOR MOST OTHERS! - Report Cards (second semester -3Q & 4Q – Grades 1 - 12) are due Tuesday, June 12, 2018. Due to relocations and renovations, you may e-mail report cards to You can also place report cards in the box located in the Health and Wellness Center in front of the reception desk. Students who earned all A’s will be listed on the Pastor’s Honor Roll. Students with an A to B average will be listed on the Deacons Honor Roll. Honor Roll Recognition will take place on the third Sunday in June during both worship services. Parents, please record your contact information on the back of the report card. - The 22nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at The Members Club at Woodcreek. Golfers will have the opportunity to compete in the longest Drive competition to win a 3 day trip to Pebble Beach in Monterey, CA.
-The Deacons and The Trustees will hold their respective Quarterly Breakfast Meetings on Saturday June 16th at the Banquet & Conference Center at 8:00 AM.
- The Brotherhood Ministry will sponsor the 24th Annual Father-Daughter Social on Saturday, June 16th at 6:00 pm at the Brookland Banquet and Conference Center. Why not treat your daughter to an evening of great food, gifts, and fellowship? As always, Brookland daughters attend for FREE!! So, register today or by stopping by the Health & Wellness Center or the lobby of the NE campus after service today.
- Father’s Day is just around the corner! Please meet us at the Brookland Banquet and Conference Center as we celebrate Father’s Day! -Women ages 18 and up, please join the Young Woman's Auxiliary (YWA) for Soul Line Dancing at Drew Wellness Center on Friday, June 22 at 6:30 pm. This is a free event. Please RSVP by June 17 to .
-The Charles B. Jackson Singers presents “40 Years of Family, Faith & Fellowship” Anniversary Concert on Sunday, July 8th at 4 PM in the Main Sanctuary. Come join the CBJ’s and its special guest the Nikoltown Community Choir of Greenville as the celebrate 4 decades through traveling and song!
